Henry moved from Australia to the UK in 2012. Since then, he has worked as a musical director, orchestrator, and pianist on a wide range of productions, from UK tours to off-West End shows, and from concerts at the London Palladium to shows on cruise ships.
Recently, Henry finished touring the UK with Bill Kenwright’s Blood Brothers, where he worked as Assistant Musical Director. He was also responsible for creating new keyboard programming for the production, which is still in use today. Further professional credits can be found here.
He is an experienced audition pianist, having accompanied auditions for West End shows, UK Tours, and regional productions. He works frequently with actors and singers in various capacities, including audition coaching, one-on-one repertoire sessions, and live accompaniment for showreels.
He is also the musical director and co-producer for In The Wings, a series of human interest interviews with composers, writers, and creatives of shows that have been recently postponed. Initially created during London’s first lockdown in 2020, In the Wings was a four-episode mini-series, and featured the first live performances with a West End cast in a theatre since the West End closed. Since then, the series has expanded to sixteen episodes, watched by over 150,000 viewers, and can be found on YouTube for free.
